Funeral Expenses for Matthew O. Lares

Matthew O. Lares tragically lost his life on Friday, July 8th, 2022, at 4:34 pm after being in a car accident between Ventura Rd. and Bard Rd. in Oxnard, CA. Matthew was beloved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all at his sudden and unexpected departure. At 18 years of age, Matthew had high expectations for his future and was looking forward to the next chapter in his life after graduating this past June from Pacifica High School. Matthew was a kind-hearted individual who loved his family and friends. This tragedy has shortened his dream to attend community college to obtain his automobile-body shop certification, start a new job, and explore the world. As a family, we are saddened and in shock at this news and wish to be able to turn back time.

Matthew is survived by his parents Francisca and Jose Luis Lares, and his three older brothers, Jose, Eliu and Jairo. He was an uncle, son, brother, and friend who will be missed.
