Kristen, Destiny, and Gabe are in need of not only our love but also our support. Thursday afternoon October 7, 2021 , We lost Matt suddenly. The family needs financial assistance with funeral and ongoing living expenses.
Matthew Lamont Finger, age 32 of Dickinson, Texas, passed away at his home on October 7th,2021.
Matthew was born in Houston, Texas to Fred and Lynn Finger of League City, Texas on February 1, 1989. From a young age, he attended and served as an acolyte at St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church. Matthew held the position of supervisor, working on commercial properties for Liberty Builders.
Matthew is preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Minnie, and sister, Judy Hernandez.
Matthew is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Kristen Finger. His daughter Destiny and son Gabriel. Parents Fred and Lynn Finger, sisters Victoria Brown and husband Justin, Janice Spiers and husband Tim, and brother Perry Finger, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Matthew was a 3rd-degree black belt in Taekwondo and 1st-degree black belt in Hapkido and competed in the Junior Olympics. He enjoyed sailing with his dad and playing Mario Bros with his mom. As he grew older, Matthew enjoyed music, fishing, and camping with family and friends on the Trinity River. Matthew will be remembered for his patient and humble spirit, kind heart, and sarcastic smile.
