Funeral Expenses For Marisa Henry

Hi Everyone,

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE who has donated and shared this fundraiser. We've surpassed the $8,000 goal and are at over $9,400! I would love to see this get to $10,000 before we close this by the end of the weekend. Also, Marisa's service will be held on Saturday January 4th at Leahy Funeral Home in Troy from 11-2 with a Celebration of Life following at The Venue in Cohoes 2:30-4:30. Your help is desperately needed right now so the family of Marisa Henry can give her a proper funeral service. Unfortunately, due to her medical condition, she was unable to obtain life insurance. Marisa went into the hospital Sunday with stomach pains. They found out she had a hole in her intestine, which was causing pus to go into her stomach. She became septic, and although she had been putting up a good fight, unfortunately, the infection was too strong. She went into liver and kidney failure, and this morning, her heart gave out.

To ease the burden on her husband Neville and brother Kennedy, Felipe and I are setting up a GoFundMe to help offset the cost of funeral expenses. I know it's the holiday season, but anything at all you can give is greatly appreciated. Small donations add up quickly when enough people give. Let's help Marisa's family so they can take the time to grieve and not have to worry about funding a funeral too. Marisa was so supportive of everyone. Now let's do something for her and her family.
