Funeral expenses for Maria Rodas

Separated by life circumstances and hundreds of miles, my siblings and I were raised by different mothers. However, life has a way of bringing you back to where you belong. We got to finally meet our brother Brian about 6 years ago, and that’s where our relationship began. Maria raised my brother with so much love and patience. No one could’ve done a better job. She had a wonderful personality and despite her illness, she always remained a happy soul. She fought a very long and tough battle with breast cancer for 20+ years. Medical insurance only covered so much, and therefore there are still remaining expenses from treatments, medication, etc. Any donations through this campaign will also help alleviate funeral expenses. My brother is a college student that has been left responsible for all these financial decisions, and therefore donations will be highly appreciated. Maria was a true angel and touched many people’s lives (including my own). She accepted us into her home, and into her heart with wide arms open. She became the glue that brought my siblings and I together, and will forever be a part of our family.
