María Dolores Garcia was the strongest woman I know. Not only was she the greatest mother, but she was a caring and loving friend and sister. Through the difficult times, she gave everything she could, whether that was emotional support or prayer. She was a God loving woman that had  faith that radiated to everyone around her.
Dolores had breast cancer about 5 years ago, and she did every step she could to survive and recover. After her surgery and months of chemotherapy, she gained her health and was ready to return to her daily life. Unfortunately, about 6 months ago she began to decline in health. Numerous hospital visits resulted in confusion towards her constant back pain. In October, she had a long hospital stay where she found out she had a spine fracture and nodes in her lungs. In December, her biopsies came back and she had cancer in all these locations. It spread rapidly and unfortunately took her life on December 21st. On winter solstice, she officially became an angel and sat next to God in Heaven.
