We are raising money to help cover the funeral expenses for Mama Adolphine. She passed away suddenly on July 27th, 2025 after a failed surgery.

At 8:00 on Saturday, July 26th Mama Adolphine was returning home from the night shift in the hospital where she worked as nurse. She got off the bus and walked a few steps when she suddenly lost consciousness and fell down. Passerby called an ambulance. When ambulance came Mama Adolphine regained consciousness and was transported to the hospital.

The doctors checked her condition until 13:00 when they noticed a small wound on her head. They decided to send her to another hospital which specializes on the brain injuries.

She called her younger brother Jean-Marie living in Munich who came to the hospital.

At 14:30 the doctor came and said they will now need to do an operation on her brain. Mama Adolphine requested to pray before the operation.

She knelt down in front of the hospital bed and prayed for 5 minutes before being sent to the operation room.

At 23:00 her brother Jean-Marie has been informed that the laser surgery on brain failed and caused bleeding after which Mama Adolphine has been in a coma.

On the morning of Sunday, July 27th the doctors performed another unsuccessful operation.

At 10:00 the doctor said to Jean-Marie that unfortunately Mama Adolphine has no chance of surviving.

At 17:00 on Sunday, July 27th Mama Adolphine has been pronounced dead.

The relatives decided to sue the hospital for the doctor's mistake, but so far the case has not moved forward.

The burial ceremony took place on August 20th, 2025 in Kinshasa, the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Mama Adolphine was a courageous woman and a symbol of patriotic love. She came to Germany 32 years ago in April 1993 after fleeing the political persecution from the dictatorship of Mobutu Sese Seko in her home country of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Her love and zeal for God, and selfless service are deeply appreciated by her brothers and sisters from International Baptist Church Munich. Her life is an example for us on our walk with Christ and she will be dearly missed.

Mama Adolphine has been survived by her 3 children: son Harley (45), daughter Fanny (43), son Fabrice (41), 4 grandchildren and 7 siblings: 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

The collected money will help to cover the body storage expenses in Germany and the body transportation and funeral expenses in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
