Funeral Expenses for Mama Akuotdit who unexpectedly passed away on January 12, 2021
Bol Bul Duot has been my childhood friend since Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya. Bol and I were, fortunately, resettled in the foster care homes in Michigan, USA in 2001. Bol and I were College roommate and he was the best man at my wedding.
Bol brought his mother, Akuotdit to the U.S and we were excited. Bol's mother was also my mother. Mama Akuotdit treats everyone with respect and treats every child like her own children.
Unfortunately, on January 12, 2021, unexpectedly, Mama Akuotdit passed away at Henry Ford Allegiance Hospital in Jackson Michigan, U.S.A. Mama Akuotdit will be buried in Jackson on January 19, 2021, and it will cost $12,000 to conduct a funeral. I’m asking friends and family members to consider donating to Mama Akuotdit's funeral expenses.
