Lydia N. Marcelo died peacefully on July 4, 2019 in Redwood City, CA at the age of 79. Lydia is survived by her husband Roger V. Marcelo Sr, children Ann Marcelo and Roger Marcelo Jr. and grandson Noah Marcelo.
Lydia was born on December 5, 1939 in San Isidro, Nueva Ecija in the Philippines to Marceliano Nagayo and Ana De Guzman. She graduated from Lyceum of the Philippines University with a double major in International Relations/Foreign Service and Economics. She married Roger V Marcelo Sr in 1973 after immigrating to the United States in 1969. After moving to San Francisco she began working for Pacific Bell as a Computer Technician. After early retirement from Pacific Bell, the family moved to Arroyo Grande, CA where she started a home care business with her husband. She spent the final 2 years of her life living in Redwood City.
A visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Crippen and Flynn Mortuary Belmont location. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Lydia's life.
