Funeral Expenses for Luis Medina Lopez

My name is Marisol Mendez; I am creating this fundraiser for my uncle Luis Medina Lopez ( my mother's brother), who passed away so unexpectedly this morning, 6/3/2022 @ 2:30 am.

Our family is saddened and distraught by the unexpected news.

Luis leaves behind his 12-year-old son, Luis Medina (Wicho).

This past year has been very hard on both due to losing their wife/mother in March 2021.

My uncle didn't have insurance. He was going through the healing of losing his wife and things were starting to look brighter for him. Then this tragedy happened.

His only source of income was selling elotes through the community and at special events. This helped to provide for his son and himself. If you ever bought and tasted his elotes, you know he had the best Elotes in Penitas, Tx.

He was such a good man. Kind. Nice. Big-hearted. A man of God.

Any donations will go toward his funeral & burial expenses and his 12-year-old son.
