Funeral expenses for Logan Cates

My younger brother, Logan Cates, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 4th, 2025. He was 28 years old. It was completely unexpected, and my older brother, Devin, and I, are completely devastated and in disbelief. We have been able to have a service and cremation for Logan thanks to the help of this gofundme page along with other donations from friends and family members. But we still have monthly payments to make to be able to pay everything off since we have not yet reached the full value in donations.

Both of our parents have already passed, so it is solely up to us to get the funeral home paid off in full. But money is very tight right now as we both have young children to support, and so as much as we hate to reach out to others asking for help, we have decided to create this gofundme page with the hope that maybe anyone who is willing and able, will find it in their hearts to donate what they can to help us finish paying off the final costs. The total cost for transport, a viewing, and cremation was over $8k.
