Les died early in the morning on Tuesday, January 16 after a long and tough battle against a slew of illnesses. But through his fight and all of the pain, he always kept up his courage to live with the idea that he got to spend another day with his friends and family that he loved so dearly.
He was a man that stood out amongst the masses, with nearly everyone that met him having a fond memory, a laugh or a story to share. He cared deeply for people, especially his scores of friends and always had time to talk to anyone that just needed someone to listen or lean on.
We will not be having a memorial service right now, we plan on hosting a celebration of life event on Saturday, May 19 (his 65th birthday) and want everyone who knew him to be with us as we remember Les.
No matter what you can donate, trust in that it will be greatly appreciated, we simply ask that you consider it. Please keep him in your thoughts, and remember all the good times you shared with him. I know that he loves you all and now it's time to honor the son, brother, husband, father and friend that Les Preece was.
The Preece Family.
