With great sadness, the Mam family is heartbroken to announce the sudden loss of Lekena Mam. She is described by having a heart of pure gold. Anyone that knew Lekena could testify what a wonderful person she is. She goes above and beyond to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. A natural to bring smiles and laughter. Her sense of humor is one of a kind. Lekena cherishes every single moment. She is the life of the party. If you feel down, have a problem, or just need to talk, she’ll be there to help you in anyway. The most vibrant genuine energy with the kindest heart. Always taking care of the people around her and thinking of others. She loves her family so much, not to mention the best aunt to her nieces and nephews. Family meant everything.

There are no words to describe the heartbreak her family and friends are feeling right now. Heaven has gained a beautiful angel.

I, Amanda, as a friend of the family, have organized this page to allow those wishing to contribute to the family to help offset the costs of the funeral. Donations will go directly to Lekena’s Sister, Kanika to assist with funeral expenses. In these trying times, your generosity and support are so very much appreciated.

Due to the pandemic, funeral homes may have certain restrictions for services. An update will be provided once funeral arrangements are settled.
