Lee passed unexpectedly during the night on January 3rd.
Our hearts are broken and the pain is near insurmountable.
Lee was a kind soul. He loved his children and his family and was full of big dreams and big stories. Anyone who had the privilege of meeting him would leave saying "I have never met a man like him." He was absolutely one of kind.
Anyone who has met him has at one time or another gotten stuck in a patented "Lee Story" which could last anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour and half. He was so passionate about them you never had the guts to tell him you had to go so you always had to listen to the whole thing, even if it was for the 2nd time.
We always told him he'd make the perfect grandpa with all these crazy stories but unfortunately he's going to miss out on most of that part of his life.
Now we are the ones who get to tell stories about him.
Lee lost his mother when he was 13 years old and his wife (my mother) 7 years ago. He always said that he wanted to be buried right next to his mother when he passed. That is what we want to do for him because that is what he wanted.
We are seeking donations to help with the funeral expenses that will allow him to have the proper services and burial next to his mother in Winchester, MA which was his only wish. Because of Covid the services will be limited to family but following covid we plan to have an additional "story telling" celebration of life in his home town of Saratoga Springs.
With Love,
Leejay and the entire Pollacchi family!
