Funeral Expenses for Laykn

Laykn was born with CDLS which created many challenges in her short 8 year life. However, if you spent just 5 minutes with her you would know there were not many challenges Laykn couldn't overcome! She had the spirit of determination and she took no issue in letting you know it either! She brought many laughs and smiles to everyone she encountered. She truly was a blessing to so many, especially her family. Her sudden passing has left a deep hole in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege to know and love her.

 

They say the pain of losing a child is unimaginable. We hope this gofundme will help to make that pain slightly more bearable. We created this gofundme to help The Goodwin Family cover the cost of funeral expenses for Laykn. The family would like any remaining funds be donated to the CDLS Foundation in Laykn's memory to help other families with CDLS. Funeral arrangements are being made at Sunset Memorial Park in Midland City, AL and more information is to come. Donations can also be made directly to the funeral home.
