Wishing I had more time is all I've been doing lately, with everything I need to do in my life, but, right now mostly just for you. This was suppose to try and make your last wishes come true but I kept putting it off thinking we had more time until the time ran out. I wont waste anymore time. Thank you for the last lesson your beautiful life gave to me. I will always have you in my heart, rest in peace mom.
On November 3, 2020 my mother and best friend Lavina Dumlao Barbosa lost her long battle with cancer. She was a warm and loving person who could see the good in anyone. It was so hard to watch someone so beautiful inside and out suffer like she had the last few months, so, I have no pain saying how happy I am she is finally at peace.
At this time I ask anyone who can lend a hand in a time of need would be greatly appreciated. We are a family of hard working people who don't ask for much from anyone but like most of everyone we live paycheck to paycheck with little savings and more debt then we want to admit.
All proceeds will go towards covering funeral/memorial expenses and to help ease the financial burden that some family members have been made to take on in order to make the most of the last moments we all had. Any additional proceeds we wanted to go to a few different charities for cancer, child abuse, and substance abuse if some kind of miracle makes that happen.
Additionally my mother left behind a wife and someone I'm proud to call my mother. Santa Barbosa took care and loved my mother through the hardest years of her life and was beside her at her death with a bum foot and crutches still fighting for her. The last thing she tried to do was get a home they could call their own before the end. I wish I could also use some of these funds to take care of the bills she's acquired trying to make my mothers last dreams come true.
During this time that things cant seem much darker for my family I'm hoping this can bring some kind of light into our lives. We thank you all for anything you have to give even if its just a thought and a prayer and will be forever grateful especially knowing how many are also struggling through these tough times.
