Funeral Expenses for Kahlil Smallwood

 

Though I did not get the opportunity to know Kahlil for very long, my husband and I quickly found out just how amazing of a guy he was. When Kahlil had found out that my husband did not have everything he needed to safely perform his job at the detention center, he not only called to express his concerns about his safety, but as well went out of his way to give him some of the items he needed. My husband was a complete stranger to him. That kind of kindness is not often seen these days and I feel it says a lot about who he was and how big his heart was for others. 

 

As many know, funeral expenses are extremely expensive and unfortunately Kahlil did not have life insurance therefore we made this in hopes to help cover the expenses as there are funeral fees and tow yard bills that cannot wait. Any amount is greatly helpful and appreciated.
