Funeral Expenses for Justeen Keahey
Donation protected
Hello friends,
As you probably know, Justeen Keahey passed away on December 20th, 2020 from pancreatic cancer. We're unable to have a proper funeral for her due to the pandemic, but there are still a lot of costs associated with the passing of a loved one.
Her cremation and the fees from the funeral home will end up costing us about $3,000 that we don't really have right now, we we're asking for a little bit of help.
My Mom was the sweetest person you ever met. When there were beautiful sunsets, she would load my brother and I in the car, and we would chase them. That tells you so much about who she was. She never met a stranger, and was always willing to talk with anyone who needed an ear or a shoulder to cry on. She was one of those people that would go out of her way to make sure you were okay, even if it meant she was neglecting herself. She was a healer, an inspiration, and a dear, dear friend.
Anything you're able to contribute would be greatly appreciated by our family, and if we happen to exceed our goal, any extra money would be spent fixing up my Mom and Dad's house and preparing it for sale, and the moving expenses for my father. My Dad doesn't need all the space, and the stairs are going to become more and more of an issue for him.
Thank you for reading and for your consideration. On top of having to deal with mountains of paperwork and fees, we also just miss her more than words can even express. Thank you for helping us make the process that much easier.
