Living a beautiful life is something many of us can say that we have done at least one time in our life. We live each day, we laugh, we pray, we love, we connect; it’s sad when this time and these memories are no more. Our mother was diagnosed with colon cancer in March 2016. She has always been a fighter, and we knew that she would do everything in her power to battle the cancer and live to have more moments, more laughs, and more memories. She fought vigorously, going through countless treatments of chemotherapy, experiencing long car rides, exhausting flights, and uncontrollable pain, all as a result of this horrible disease we call cancer. After being told she would have only days on March 24, 2017, she continued her fight again. She woke up to laugh, love, and cry with her children who were all by her side. She held her mother’s hand and expressed thoughts of happiness, sadness, and fear. She fought as long as she could until the cancer finally took her away. She left us on April 23, 2017. Our beautiful mother leaves behind five children and ten grandchildren. She was 55 years old. We are blessed to have had the time we had with her, but saddened by the moments we will not have with her.
Due to financial burdens incurred during the time spent caring for our mother, we are in need of assistance to cover the costs of funeral expenses. Were planning to hold the services on saturday May 13th 2017. Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated.
