Jovan Wilder was out driving in Milwaukee, WI with his brother Bruce on Saturday, March 20th in preparation for 19th birthday that next day (Sunday. March 21st).  Jovan was caught in the crossfire of a senseless shooting he was unknowingly passing through. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition where he was met by his parents who have remained faithfully at his side praying for his recovery.  His 19th birthday was celebrated in the ICU at his bedside while prayers were being sent for his health.  Sadly, he was declared braindead on Monday, March 22, 2021 but remains on life support until his organs are harvested for donation (possibly on March 24th). 

Unbeknownst to his family, Jovan was an organ donor and his heart and kidneys will help save the lives to two strangers. His family is thankful to know that his legacy will carry on through this generous and selfless act of being a donor.

The funds being collected will be used to help cover the funeral and burial costs. Jovan at the ripe age of 19 had a whole future ahead of him, and we ask for any contribution to help his family recover from this devastating and sudden love of their beloved son.
