Hello all,

My name is Lisa Hatfield and I am a step-sister to Joel Sylvester. I was lucky enough to call Joel my brother. As I’m sure you all know, Joel passed away very unexpectedly on Friday February 18, 2022. We are asking for any help you may be able to offer to help cover the funeral and current expenses to tie up all the loose ends.

Joel was a great son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend. Joel was always unapologetically himself, something we all appreciated. He had a giant heart and wasn’t ever afraid to tell you how he felt. He was kind, supportive and loving and hard working.

The love he had for his son, was second to none. They were like two peas in a pod. Oliver will miss him dearly as he goes on to live his life without his dad.
