Funeral Expenses for Jim Jacob
Donation protected
James H. "Jim" Jacob unexpectedly passed, with his loving wife Liz by his side, at UPMC Pinnacle Hospital, Harrisburg PA on 4 January 2018. Husband, Father, Grandpa, Uncle, Friend...we looked up to him as the strongest and wisest. Jim shared a true bond of love with his wife Liz and the two were inseparable. They have had happiness and hardship but, they continued through it all, together.
As a father, Jim was more then proud of his only son Luke. Jim and Luke were as close as any father and son, their banter at a local watering hole, in the kitchen while cooking, fishing by the lake or just anytime they were together would make you smile and laugh. Liz and Luke's wife Angela-who Jim referred to as "DIL"-loved to sit in the lounge and listen to Jim and Luke as they were preparing one of their "Jacob specialties" of a more then Yummy meal.
As "Grandpa Jim" he had 6 youngsters looking up to him. Jim loved his grandchildren, he loved to teach them, to guide them and he was proud of all of them. He would sit with any of his grandchildren and chat with them for hours or teach them anything they wanted to learn with great love. No matter how short the time may have been, he is definitely an inspiration and positive influence on his grandchildren and the pain of missing him has already shown on their faces, when they ask so many questions...
Jim had a love of the ocean and he was an avid N.Z. All Blacks fan. He also enjoyed long rides on his Harley with his wife Liz and fishing with his son and grandsons.
To those that knew him, he was more then a sincere and honest man. He would be the first one to respond to a call for help from a family member or friend. He was more then talented in anything he persued.
He was intelligent, caring, staunch, sensitive, worldly, strong, witty and loyal. The world lost an incredible & amazing man on a cold day in January.
We are asking for donations to assist with Jim's arrangements. Any amount that can be donated will be greatly appreciated by Liz, Luke and Angela and family.
