El primero de Septiembre los doctores le dieron a nuestra familia la muy mala noticia de que mi suegro tenia Metastatic Renal Cancer de quarto grado. Despues de cinco largos meses, su batalla acabo ayer el cuatro de Febrero alrededor de las 7 de la noche. El ya no tiene dolor y sabemos que esta gozando de la precencia del Padre. Se convirtio en nuestro angel de la guardia.
Todos lo conocimos como un padre amoroso, un buen amigo. El siempre se aseguro que todos estubieramos bien cuidados. Trabajo muy duro durante su vida para que nada nos faltara. Como tal, nos a dejado con un gran tristesa. Queremos que todos sepan que el lucho contra el cancer hasta el ultimo momento, nunca bajo bandera. Lo vamos a extranar mucho pero sabes que la luz de la presencia de Dios ya brilla para el y no es un adios si no hasta luego.
Como familia mis suegros y su familia han trabajado durante estos largos cinco meses para mantener el hogar durante los tratamientos de mi suegro. Por esa razon en ves de flores, regalos, etc. les pido que considere hacer una donacion para cubrir los gastos de su funeral. Muchas gracias por su apoyo, gracias a todos que siempre estuvieron ahi con ellos. Si hace una donacion de lo que le nasca de corazon, mil gracias.
Porfavor sepan que lo que se recolecte y no se use para el funeral de mi suegro sera donado al Denver Hospice en agradecimento de sus cuidados durante estos dias.

On September 1st my husband's family was given some very difficult news. My father in law was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Renal Cancer. After fighting for 5 long months, his battle ended yesterday February 4th at around 7:30 pm. He is resting now and no longer in pain and enjoying the presence of God. He became our guardian angel.
As many of you know he was a loving dad, a best friend, and always made sure we were all taken care of. In life he worked tirelessly to make sure that we never needed anything. As such we are left with a big hole in our hearts and in his home. We would like everyone to know that he fought so hard against the cancer, until the very last moment, he never gave up. We miss him dearly but know that he is now resting in the presence of God.
He was the sole bread winner in his home and as such it has been a long five months for my in laws. As a family they continued to work hard to support the home and gave everything they had during his treatments. So now in lieu of flowers, gifts, etc. I am asking for donations to be made towards his funeral. On behalf of them we appreciate all the kind words and support and thank you in advance for any donation you feel in your heart to make.
Please know that any amount in excess of funeral expenses that is collected will be donated to the Denver Hospice for their wonderful care of my father in law.
