Memorial Fundraiser for Jenny Aranson

On Sunday, April 10, Marin County lost one of its most beautiful local celebrities, Jenny Aranson.

 

My name is Carrie Tice, I live in Mill Valley, and my dog Baxter and I have been friends and clients of Jenny’s for many years. I have started a fundraiser to lessen the financial burden put on her family due to exorbitant funeral, memorial and other unexpected costs. We are reaching out to our loving, thoughtful community for help.

 

Having lived in Mill Valley since 1963, Jenny Aranson had been a beloved fixture, always willing to spend a moment chatting and laughing with her community. Her spirit burned bright, beaming with light and love and a blinding sparkle in her eye.  Also known as “the Mill Valley Dog Whisperer”, Jenny built meaningful relationships with her clients and the animals she cared for. She was generous, passionate, and brutally authentic, drawing people into her magic as if there was no choice. 

 

In her unexpected and untimely death, Jenny leaves behind two daughters, Sarah Acker and Tanya Stahler,  and four grandchildren she adored, Marley, Lyla, Emmeline, and Annika.

 

Please donate what you can, as any amount will truly help. We are hoping to raise $10,000 by May 1st to cover Jenny’s growing memorial expenses.
