Jennifer Salter passed away unexpectedly September 24 , 2021 we've had less than 24 hours to prepare ourselves for this outcome. She has struggled with alot over the years and diabetes was a main one. Her sugar was 500 on Friday morning so her dr called her in a new medication to get it lowered BECAUSE she was at risk for a diabetic coma or heart attack. She started taking this medication and began to get very sick. She had took 1 pill a day for 5 days. On Thursday night she was transported to Sequatchie Erlanger by ambulance. When she got there she was unresponsive and her labs showed sugar of 1700. The dr prepared us that she probably wouldn't make it through the night. They then transferred her to Erlanger Chattanooga and got the news that her brain was unresponsive and the vent was keeping her alive. This is very unexpected and we would appreciate anything and everything that we can get at this time. Please remember us in your prayers.
