It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of our father, brother and good friend, Jason Moss.
Jason’s passing was very unexpected and a devastating loss to those who knew him and truly loved him. Jason had just begun a new journey with the love of his life and the reconnection with his children. He had so many plans on this new life’s path and was cut short due to this tragic loss.
We are asking for any donations to help pay with the funeral costs and other expenses that may occur. If you are unable to donate, please share this and keep his family in your prayers.

Sheriff J. Adam Shepherd would like to release the following information regarding a shooting that occurred on Bixby Road about two miles north of Globe.
On September 1, 2019, at approximately 10:09 p.m., the Gila County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call in reference to male subject that had been shot. Deputies and officers from the Globe Police Department responded to the scene and found the victim, 49 year old, Jason L. Moss, suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim was transported to the Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center and later pronounced deceased.
Deputies were able to contact the suspect, 31 year old, Christopher Lee Wills of Globe. After further investigation, the suspect was booked into the Gila Count Jail on the charges of manslaughter. This is an ongoing investigation and more information may be released as it becomes available.
Sheriff Shepherd would like to thank the Globe Police Department and Tri City Fire Department for their coordinated response.
