Funeral Expenses for Hannah King
On Friday September 3rd 2021 Shortly after 4pm I got a call I never wanted to get. My brother Geoff King calls to tell me that his daughter ( my niece ) Hannah King was found dead in her home in the Montara area. Her life was taken in an act of domestic violence. She was only 20 years old. This tragedy has left a huge hole in all our hearts throughout this community.
We were there when she was born. She was a wonderful little girl growing up. Always eager to play and meet other children. We watched her grow into the woman she became. She loved it all. Skateboarding, Music, and especially art. There was nothing she would not try when it came to creativity and she would not back down from a challenge. People best know her as the most caring hippie. She loved everyone no matter what. She was the best. And she loved owls.
Hannah was a wonderful person with a huge heart. She became a mother of a beautiful girl, and took that challenge of motherhood head on. There was nothing that she would not do for her child or her family. She was the best mother a little girl could ask for.
But in a blink of an eye she was taken away from us. Leaving this family is absolute despair and confusion. This has all of us torn apart in disbelief that this happened to our family. This has definitely put a un-healable hurt on us all that knew her.
We do not want this family to bear financial burden of this senseless tragedy. This fundraiser is to help the King family give Hannah a proper farewell and to give her the memorial that she deserves.
