My name is Sabourin J. Templeton grandson to Gilbert Cadena. My grandfather passed away on 12/6/2021 at 1:45pm at Transmountain Hospital in El Paso Texas. My Grandfather was a great father to my mother Ruth Turner, and Connie Simmons. He was also a great husband to his wife Debbie Cadena and happily married for 53 years. My grandfather is Vietnam war vet and served proudly in the United States Airforce. My grandfather was not only an exceptional man to family but also to the community. He was a man who would be willing to do anything and everything he could possibly do to make other peoples life better. My grandpa passed away shortly after he contracted COVID. While in the hospital he was transferred to the ICU and intubated. He was a fighter, I still remember talking to him before they induced him in a coma. Not once did he let the fear show and stayed optimistic. Because of his previous health history and contact with agent orange during Vietnam it lead to his death. This is a very painful lost of live for many but he will never be forgotten! I am asking for this support in hopes to give my grandfather the best funeral possible. I know some of you may have not had the opportunity to meet my grandfather but he was the most loving and caring man known by many. Whatever you can find in your heart to donate is greatly appreciated.
