Back on December 13th Giacomo was taken by squad to Upper Valley Medical Center with complications stemming from COVID 19.

On December 19th he went on a ventilator and was later transferred down to Kindred Hospital in Dayton. 

After tackling both COVID pneumonia and bacterial pneumonia, fevers, intubation and a tracheostomy, a feeding tube, a collapsed lung, 2 units of blood, and a chest tube, Jesus decided to retsore his health and take him home to paradise.

Thankfully Dad had no pain, no suffering, and drifted asleep peacefully surrounded by our Mom Cristy, and children Tony, Amanda, and myself, and our brother Giacomo will be arriving tomorrow from Cali.

Dad loved his family, friends, and dogs immensely.

He served our country in the US Navy as a Cryptologic Technician and respected & supported other vets.
He enjoyed fishing annually in the backwoods of Canada with family and friends.
He was a hockey FANTATIC and goalie for the Troy Sabres back in the 80’s and he could fix ANYTHING!
He and Mom were small business owners in downtown Troy for 15 years and recently retired in 2019.
Dad loved all things Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Louie Prima, Eric Clapton, and the Eagles, and he was one of the ONLY Xichigan fans in Ohio!

Funeral arrangements are pending through Baird Funeral Home and we established this GoFundMe account to help soften this burden for our Mom.
