Gerardo Villa, or "Chicho", as many who were close to him knew him as, was born in Zacatecas, Zacatecas, Mexico. He was full of life, laughter and knew how to crack a joke. You never saw him mad or upset as there was always an ever present smile on his face. He was an active soccer fan, faithful to Las Aguilas del America, and the designated family DJ.  He knew how to make a mean carne asada and his hospitality when invited to his home was unparalleled. Sadly, on January 14th, 2021 after a long fight with COVID-19 he passed away from complications. He left behind his wife, his children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, brothers, sisters and his parents whose lives were forever changed. Not only was a life forever lost but a family was forever changed. A light who illuminated every person he came in contact with, he still had much to live for and many reasons to stay. Today, we ask to please assist in whatever you can to properly put him to rest. Anything that you are able to provide is a help towards helping a grieving family be at peace. Thank you and God bless.
