FUNERAL EXPENSES FOR PRASTUY FAMILY

On Wednesday, November 23, the evening before Thanksgiving, a mother, father and 10 year old daughter were in a horrific accident on highway 41. All three family members tragically lost their lives. The father, Piruz, was pronounced dead at the scene, the 10 year old daughter, Amitis, was transported to Hanford Children's hospital where she passed away. The mother, Sepiddeh, was transported to Fresno Community, where she stayed in ICU until she passed away the morning of Dec 5.

They left behind their 20 year old son, Arash, who had stayed home to study. Arash lost his entire family overnight. He's had to deal with the grief of these losses while being by his mothers side the last few weeks. They have no family here and now this young man is responsible for funeral expenses to bury his entire family.

Arash attended Buchanan High school and is currently at Clovis Community studying engineering. Amitis, his little sister, was a bright 5th grader at RiverView Elementary school. She enjoyed many things, from playing the trumpet to playing basketball. She also loved to draw and enjoyed fireworks for 4th of July. His mother went back to school once Amitis began elementary school and earned her degree in Mathematics. She was currently pursuing her Masters degree in Civil Engineering at Fresno State. Piruz, an engineer, was getting ready to retire from Caltrans. All financial burdens of monthly living expenses in addition to funeral expenses rest on Arash's shoulders now that his family is gone. As he is already dealing with so much, we are attempting to alleviate some of this stress by getting any assistance we can, not only to cover funeral expenses but also monthly household bills.

Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated and all proceeds will be going directly to Arash (legal name Mohammadreza Khalkhali) and the funeral home. He would like to have both of his parents cremated and ashes placed in his little sisters casket.
