Funeral Expenses for Frankie Wise

Donation protected
My name is Cindy Antoniello. I am fundraising for the family of Frankie Wise to help cover funeral expenses. I have been a friend of the family's since Frankie's diagnosis. We also know each other through church where our boys were all baptized and received their sacraments. I served as Frankie's personal driver to his weekly hippotherapy following my retirement. Frankie had such a great, dry sense of humor. He loved giving people a hard time about everything, especially if he liked you.

Frankie passed away at the age of 33 after a long battle with Ataxia-Telangiectasia (A-T), a rare progressive, degenerative disease that affects various body systems, including muscle control, speech, and immune system. He spent his final two months in the hospital fighting infections, kidney function, and pancreatitis among other health issues. His family never left his side and were always hopeful that he would continue the fight as he always had, but his body was too frail. He passed away in his mother's arms at 8:03 p.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2022. Due to his illness and young age, he was unable to qualify for any sort of life insurance leaving the family struggling to pay medical bills and final funeral expenses.

Frankie was a lifelong member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. He was an altar server with his two older brothers, was active in the youth group, and was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 12803 and his father. He worked with Sr. Jane at the Diocese of Lubbock and volunteered with Hospice of Lubbock. He was very proud to have been an honorary Lubbock Police Officer, graduating with the 1998 Lubbock Police Academy, Class B. Frankie graduated from Coronado High School in 2008 and was attending Lubbock Christian University. He was involved in 4H where he won the first-place belt buckle for raising rabbits.

Prayers of peace and comfort to his mom Pat, dad Frank, brothers Michael and Tony and sister Farrah, his extended family and countless friends. RIP Frankie. We will miss you/
