Funeral Expenses for Estrada family in time of grief.

I am saddened by the passing of my hero and my best friend. My father was an amazing man; he was a very hardworking and optimistic person. He was a man of faith who taught me to keep God first. On May 28, he had gone to the hospital because he had a cough that wouldn’t go away. They then ran some tests on him and got back to him after some time. They told him that he was in critical condition and had to have open-heart surgery as soon as possible. He had two failing heart valves, causing him to feel very exhausted and winded. He then gave us a call, and we went over and spent some time with him. This news saddened us as it took us by surprise. I stayed with him that night as they moved him to Asante Hospital where they could further proceed with the surgery. We stayed there for a few days as they prepared him for his surgery. On Monday, June 2, just a day after my birthday, the doctors advised us that he would go into surgery. We waited anxiously for him there in the waiting room. The doctor then came and gave us the good news that the surgery went smoothly. We went in to see him, and I was very happy to see him doing well. He was sedated for two days, then woke up on Wednesday in good spirits. This brought joy to all of us as we saw him happy and strong. A day passed, and his breathing was very heavy and fast, causing him to be in a lot of pain. The doctors made the decision to put him on a breathing tube; they put the tubes down his throat in order to help his lungs and the cough he was dealing with. He was recovering well, then a couple of days later, I received a call from my mom at around 1 am. She called me worried because doctors had told her that my dad's organs were beginning to fail him. I then hurried over to see my dad as I didn’t know if these were his last moments. The nurses then told me that he would begin dialysis and be put on a gallbladder cleaning machine. They did this for about a week while he was sedated. They then woke him up; at this point, he was already becoming weaker, and his muscles were beginning to become smaller. A week went by, and he was looking better. The month of June passed, and he was beginning to get better and better every day. A week into July, he wasn’t on any more big medication and was simply on a breathing tube and a food bag. The doctors told us that he was moving in a good direction and out of danger. On July 16, at around 12:30 am, my father was on dialysis when the nurse woke my mom up to tell her that my father was having a stroke. The stroke was major and left my father with a non-functional brain. We then told our family to come to the hospital as these were going to be my father's last moments. We were all there for his last moment, and sadly, my father passed away peacefully at around 7 am (7/16).
I am here to tell you his story and ask for your support in this time of grief. All donations are very appreciated. Thank you all for your support and prayers. God bless you all
