Funeral expenses for Elvia Vega

On March 14, 2023, my loving mother was called by the Lord to watch over us all. She leaves behind her mother, brother, myself, son-in-law, 2 grandchildren whom she loved dearly and her favorite dog Sugar.

Her grandchildren were her world, she'd do anything for them no matter how sick she felt these last few months, she always gave them her all. My mother loved being with her family, and friends. She enjoyed cooking, dancing and was strongly devoted to her catholic faith. She was a cancer warrior, remained brave, and was iron-willed through her final days. She was a firecracker and had a remarkable sense of humor.

My mom was diagnosed with stage 4 CLL cancer in August 2021. She was able to finish all 6 rounds of chemotherapy in July 2022 and was in a short remission due to her cancer progressing so quickly. We were thankfully able to start her treatment at MD Anderson in Houston in October 2022. I was given the opportunity to be her stem cell donor in which I was honored to do and in the hopes of giving her a second chance at life. But unfortunately, her cancer came back in February and spread to her brain and before we knew it, it was too late and her fight with cancer was over.

In this time of sorrow, I am devastated beyond belief in the loss of my mother. The funeral expenses are already overwhelming for me. I am asking for your help with my mother's funeral expenses. Any help would truly be appreciated and needed due in these tough times. My family thanks you for your support.
