Hello everyone. Most of you may know that my father, Eddie Storey, was rushed to the emergency room unexpectedly on Friday June 22nd. He was found very sick and the doctors have worked very hard to keep him alive over this past week. He has had one battle after the next and the doctors are unsure if he will live. He is currently in Parkwest Hospital in Knoxville, TN in critical care. They are trying CRRT dialysis as a last resort to keep him going. It is our last chance for survival. This all came on us very quickly. It has been hard to process everything that has happened over the past few days. I went from planning to come here to take my dad out for Father’s Day to coming here to try to save his life. If anyone knows my dad, they know he is a wonderful, sweet man. He has dedicated his entire life to taking care of my handicapped brother and myself. He is loyal and kind and never deserved any of this sickness.
If my father does not make a turn for the better over the next few days of trying the CRRT dialysis, then we will have to start trying to figure out funeral arrangements for him. If he does make it through this by the grace of God, then I will have to do everything in my power to get him better.
I’m setting up this fund for anyone who might want to help me through this. Any little bit helps, rather we use it for medical expenses or funeral expenses. I appreciate all of the overwhelming support and love from everyone so far. Please just keep the prayers going. It’s in God’s hands at this point. Thank you.
