Funeral expenses for Donnie Staaf

With a heavy heart I write to share that a dear friend, Erin Staaf, unexpectedly lost her husband, Donnie Staaf this week – leaving behind a 12-year-old daughter and a 6-year-old son.

 Donnie was a devoted and loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He went above and beyond the call of duty again and again to help strangers in need and to spread the love of God. He touched so many lives in such a positive way and will be missed by many!

 Losing a loved one is always difficult, but coping with a sudden, unexpected loss adds challenging financial burdens to the grieving process. Erin has been a loving and devoted wife, an amazing mother, and a true believer of God as her Higher Power. Now she will need the support of the community as she moves forward with her children on her own.

 We would like to show support to Erin Staaf and her family during this difficult time by helping them cover unexpected costs due to this sudden tragedy. All donations will be given to Erin Staaf to help with funeral arrangements and other expenses connected to Donnie’s passing.

 All who knew Erin and Donnie were witness to their deep love for Jesus, for one another, for their children, and for helping people through acts of service. No matter what struggle they encountered, they went through it together with God.  

 One of Donnie’s favorite Bible passages, Romans 12:2, showed his heart to do God’s will and to serve others: “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

 Now it’s our turn to help this family that has helped so many others. Anything you can do to aid Erin and her family during this time of heartbreak is greatly appreciated!
