Funeral expenses for Devin aka Sharky ❤️

Hi, our names are Desiree(sister) and Jared(brother in law), and we'd like to share a quick story about our loving brother Devin. A couple days ago, Devin was having some oral pain, so Amanda, his mother, drove him to the hospital to get treated. The situation wasn't life threatening as we only assumed he would get some pain medication and antibiotics to help. As he was being processed, Devin let the hospital know which medicine to avoid that he was allergic to. The staff ran some tests and said he had a bad infection and were preparing to fly him to Vegas to get better treatment. Due to the weather they weren't allowed to fly him and wanted to transport him by ambulance. As they were preparing, they had put him to sleep so they can insert a tube in his throat that way he didn't suffocate due the abscess possibly swelling. Amanda was sent outside as they were struggling to get to the tube in. Amanda shortly after heard a code announcement and asked around if that was her child or not. Soon after they had announced to her that tragedy hit him. Devin was given antibiotics earlier but its seem as he was having an allergic reaction to what was given to him which caused him to swell up massively and caused him to not be able to breathe. It wasn't until 15 minutes or so later that Desiree (his sister), his dad (Sam), and myself (Jared) reached the hospital after hearing the news that he had passed. Some of us couldn't go in to see Devin as he had been disfigured due to the allergic reaction and unable to say our final goodbyes. He passed away Monday February 19th 2024.

I wanted to go into detail because this is a horrible nightmare that Devin and our family experienced. He comes from a loving family of 9 in our small town and now we're left in great despair and grief. Devin has been a huge part of our lives to his parents, brother, sister, niece and nephews. This is an overwhelming toll on us as we're in need to cover expenses that we weren't prepared for. Any contribution, no matter how big or small, would be deeply appreciated, so we can cover his cremation, urn, and any other funeral related expenses please. Devin just turned 26 on the 8th of January, he was the youngest of my mothers three kids. He had a sweet dog he loved dearly named Penelope and was insanely obsessed with sharks. Sweet as can be, always putting everyone first. I promise you if you met him, you would have loved him. He always put a smile on your face and made everyone laugh.
