On New Year's Eve Destiny was crossing a crosswalk when a driver struck her, causing severe head trauma and a broken femur. She was put in a medically induced coma at Long Beach Memorial hospital ICU. After a month, Destiny came out of a coma and was finally able to open her eyes and breathe on her own. This morning on February 23rd Destiny stopped breathing, and after several attempts to resuscitate her, she passed away.
Destiny was a beautiful, kind-hearted and spirited young woman who touched the lives of everyone around her. With her grace and her vivacious attitude, she was a light for everyone that knew her and always put others before herself.
We are asking for donations to cover the cost of her funeral expenses so that she may be put to rest. Any amount is greatly appreciated.
