Funeral Expenses for Deandre Hunter

On May 6th, 2022, an unexpected tragic accident took our friend, son, brother, and uncle, Deandre Hunter, away from us. Deandre was always the life of the party and someone who cared about everyone. He always had a way of bringing a smile to your face or making you laugh, even in the most unexpected times. Deandre was in his second year of college at WSU, studying Psychology and Human Development. This past year, he was accepted into the Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Scholar Program, where he researched mental health in underrepresented communities. Deandre was very passionate about his research and was always ready to learn new things. He was also a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity at WSU, where he served as the mental health chair for a year. Deandre helped so many men in the fraternity with any struggles or issues brought to him. In addition, he enjoyed playing basketball, dancing, playing video games, and hanging out with the ones he loved. He affected the lives of everyone who got the chance to meet him.

This fundraiser has been created to help his family cover his funeral expenses for both his friends and family. Deandre was loved by so many, and we would love to give him the send-off he deserves. Anything helps and is greatly appreciated.
