Funeral Expenses for Darian

On August 2, Tammy got the phone call every mother dreads. Her daughter was sobbing hysterically on the other end of the phone begging her to hurry home. Something was drastically wrong with with Darian, or D-Bo as he was lovingly known to his family. Tammy rushed back home and with 911 on their way, fought to bring her son back. Unfortunately, Darian was already gone. As anyone who has lost a child can tell you, the reason why doesn't matter. But at this point they have told Shon and Tammy it may have been Darian's severe asthma.
Shon, Tammy, and Darian's siblings Saneya and Cordae are absolutely in a state of shock, as you can well imagine. Although Darian was working at Subway, he unfortunately had no life insurance to cover the expenses.
Darian was always the happiest of kids. When he was a baby, I'm pretty sure I caught his Uncle Jason staring at him many times because he was just so stinking cute. And that boy was smart as a whip. Darian went to elementary, middle and most of high school in Flagstaff where he excelled in sports-most specifically baseball and football. Once they moved down to the Valley, he continued to play sports and find his way quickly onto the Varsity teams here. He had this sly little smile-one of those smiles that let you know he was up to something. I know many times I'd be at their house and he would slink in and grab up his Mom and make her forget in a heartbeat why she was mad at him with his great sense of humor.
I am asking if you can find in your heart to help out Shon and Tammy to help ease this financial burden since they have suddenly had so much thrown on their plate. Tammy has been my best friend for more than 25 years. Anyone who knows them knows they have always been that family to open their home to any of their kids' friends to have a place to eat, sleep, or just a have someone to vent to. If you cannot help financially, please send your prayers over to Shon, Tammy and the kids for peace, understanding, strength, and healing.
