Funeral Expenses for Daniel Vega

Hi everyone, my name is Sierra, the oldest daughter of Daniel Vega. On Monday night, I

was informed that my father went into cardiac arrest and passed away at his place of work. He was taken to Medical City of Plano where he was officially pronounced dead at 9:30pm. For those of you that knew my father, you knew that he was a very personable person that wanted to put a smile on people’s faces and make you laugh. He made friends everywhere he went and was loved by so many.

For those of you that know me, I currently go to Texas State University and am trying to create a life for myself, with the job I have and the degree I am working towards. Unfortunately, with my father passing, this makes things a little bit more difficult when it comes to the financials and figuring out how to navigate life now, especially with my best friend not being there to help me.

There is no set plan for my father’s funeral arrangements yet, but there will be soon to come. After speaking to a couple funeral homes, I do know that the average cost of putting him just in a funeral home, aside from the cost of a casket and tombstone, is roughly between $5-10,000.

For those of you interested in helping me put my dad next to the rest of his family in San Antonio, it would be greatly appreciated, anything helps… For those of you that are not able to help, I please ask that you keep my family and I in your prayers for this difficult journey that is to come.
