Hi, my name is Nicole. My dad, Dan Bell. He was hospitalized with Covid September of 2021 to find out he had a area of concern in his lungs. Feb 11th, 2022 I found him unresponsive at my brothers, where he was rushed to Winter Haven Hospital an placed on life support for 5 days. In that 5 days we had a biopsy on the lungs an he was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer. After many hoops with insurance companies he was hospitalized an began chemotherapy. Unfortunately the cancer spread to his brain an began radiation. He lost his battle on December 9th. His final wishes was to be buried next to his brother. He was battling with social security disability for over a year getting approved 1 month before he passed. They only wanted to give him his back pay in portions every 6 months. He was given 6 month to live 3 weeks before he passed away. He was going to use his back pay to pay for his arrangements. Unfortunately, he did not make it long enough for the paperwork to go through. We’re asking help from the community to help pay for the funeral cost. Thank you in advance.
