Hi. My name is Cindy and I’m extended family of the Hedden’s.....Barb, Rachael, Michael and Jonathan held Dale’s hand and prayed him into Glory September 10, 2021.

After a week of processing, grieving and scrambling to do what’s next the financial reality is before them.

This is what Rachael had to say.......

 

Our dad was adventurous. He always had fun plans and big dreams, but he was also a realist.  He devoted his life to sharing Jesus and the message of the cross with others.  Early on as a missionary in his mid 20’s, as a young husband and father of four, then as a pastor for many years.   

After his children were out of the house he spent countless hours reading and writing emails, almost to everyone he'd ever met.  Maybe you were the recipient of a few.   That means he cared deeply for you and desired for you to be walking with Jesus, living in the light!

He was married to Barbara Jean Swan for 52 years and had just turned 80.  His life was about storing up treasures in heaven.  We are grateful for the wonderful legacy he left us.  

 

Psalm 116:15

"Precious in the sight of the Lord is death of his saints" 

 

We're steadfast in our faith because we've set our eyes on the King, Jesus, more sure of our purpose than ever before and we're rejoicing with the saints at His great name!
