Funeral expenses for Connie Havens

I have set up this GoFund me to help pay for Connie’s funeral expenses. Our family now has gone through two deaths within a two week period. Any type of support is greatly appreciated.

Monday July 19th 2021, We got the call at 1:30am that I never wanted to get. “Moms gone” I dropped everything got my boy friend and we headed straight to the hospital. At a loss for words and a pain I have never felt in my heart, the half hour drive felt like an eternity. We walked into the hospital and I lost it. Looking at my siblings and the heart ache in their eyes devastated me. Our mom was gone. Our rock, backbone, our angel was gone and she was never coming back. All of us wondering what happened for sure, just wanting her back! None of us wanting to believe it.

Connie was one stubborn lady. We found out our beloved mother, grandmother, friend and amazing woman had underlying health issues but she never wanted to go to the doctors. Our mom had atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, cardio megaly w/ left ventricular hypotrophy, bicuspid aortic stenosis, severe nethrosclerosis, and a mass involving her left kidney. She was loved in the community and meant the world to many. She touched many lives and was a second mom to almost anyone she met. She may only have had 10 kids but she was a mom to hundred. Hahah. Everyone looked at mom as if she was their second mom. Always their for everyone, gave everyone a second chance, sometimes a third or fourth chance. She never gave up on someone, she was always there. She was taken from us way to soon. A great life, a strong, beautiful, loving, hilarious life of the party woman gone way to soon.

At this time we are waiting to get our mom back and to be able to all sit down as a family and plan a celebration of Connie’s death in a way she deserves. We are all lost and a piece of all of our hearts were taken from us and are now with her. If you can help us give Connie the celebration she greatly deserves we all would appreciate it more than anything.
