Colin Matthews was a friend to many, both here and abroad.  On May 12th Colin traveled to Heathrow to start a journey that would include surprising his 84 year old Mum on her 85th Birthday this coming Saturday.  He made it to Alcaidesa Beach, Spain and on May 13th he posted that he was on his way to the "Top of the Rock" of Gibraltar with friends, Fran and Janet.  

Something went tragically wrong and our dear friend "Colin" lost control and went off the road.  He was taken to the hospital and went into surgery and was put on life support. Unfortunately, for all he left behind, his weak and injured body, couldn't carry on and he left us to travel, infinite roads that are pain and worry free.  I am certain that his daughter was waiting for him, on the other side.

Tomorrow evening,  Theresa will be flying to Heathrow, London; to meet Colin's Mum and then together, they will be flying to Spain, to make his final arrangements.  

The funeral costs, will well exceed $4K-$6K and we are hoping that everyone can pitch in, to lessen the burden of bringing her beloved and our dear friend, back to the states.  This cannot happen without these funds, as we all know, Colin was on disability and Theresa isn't in a position to afford this cost. 

In addition, as we all know; there is a convenience  fee of %5 that is reduced by GO-Fund Me, when funds are withdrawn.  However, Carl Baker who is a lifelong friend of Colin's has agreed to match that %5 fee with his own funding. 

Colin, was everyone's friend.  He touched the lives of so many in ways that most can't even explain, myself included.  Please help our friend, come back to his 2nd home! Thank you all so much
