Christopher Wilhelm was always a giver and always wanted to contribute anyway he could to his community. He was jr firefighter at 16 and continued to serve at various volunteer fire departments while pursuing his dream of becoming a career firefighter.
10 years ago Chris battled Ewing sarcoma in his left ankle that eventually led to an amputation of his left leg. Just 6 weeks ago, a tumor was found in his right lung and we found out that the Ewing sarcoma had came back. Unfortunately, it was incurable this time.
This morning chris passed away at York hospital. Chris was just 30 years old with no life insurance policy and very little money to his name. As his fiancé, I would like to give him the funeral service he deserves. Chris did not have life insurance so I’m appreciative of any help received. Even if it’s just $1. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Chris will be missed by so many. May he Rest In Peace.
