Funeral Expenses For Chris Tucker

As I’m sure many of you all know Red oak lost a good man on Wednesday June 2, 2021. Chris Tucker wasn’t just a good man but an amazing husband, an outstanding father, and an one of a kind friend to many. He coached baseball on our Field Of Dreams right here in Red oak for numerous years and coached county football for several years. He was a member of The Wylliesburg Dixie Youth Board and then he became president over the board, he held that title for quite some time. He set an example here in our little home town of what it meant to get out there and be apart of the community. Chris never met a stranger and if he did, they didn’t stay a stranger for long. If you needed him, he was there. Chris loved sports and hunting like no other. He passed his love for these things to his son’s, Caleb and Fred, who have been hunting and playing sports with him their entire lives. He was the definition of a family man. His love for them shinned through in his everyday life. He treated his niece, Chastity, no different than his own two boys. His wife, Wendy, and himself lent a helping hand to many of us when in need. This time it’s our turn to lend that same hand. Chris’s passing was so unexpected and he didn’t have life insurance. Anything you can give or even just a share would help take some of the burden off of his family. This family has been apart of the Red oak community 20+ years. To have known Chris is to have known a true friend for life.
