Funeral Expenses for Chiree Souza
Donation protected
In loving memory of Chiree Souza
May 30, 1958- April 7, 2022
Chiree was a loving mother of 2 daughters, Serina and Shanna. She was a loving and devoted wife to her husband of 41 years, Rodney Souza. She loved children and worked in the administration office of Baldwin High School for many years. In addition to her daughters Chiree was a mother figure to many others, myself included.
She was a lifelong faithful and devoted Catholic, and volunteered teaching Catichism classes at her beloved home parish, Saint Anthony of Padua Church in Wailuku. Chiree loved dancing hula, crafting, caring for animals, gardening, flowers (especially purple flowers!) and will be remembered as the most fabulous Puerto Rican cook of all time. She spend much of her time helping others and interceding for others in prayer.
We take comfort in knowing Chiree is now in the arms of her loving Savior Jesus Christ, and enjoying the eternal rewards she so faithfully stored up in heaven all her life.
This is a very difficult time for the family as they grieve, and they are unprepared for Chiree’s final expenses. All donations are greatly appreciated and will go toward a traditional Catholic funeral, Chiree would have wanted this, and it means to world to her ohana. Donations will also help with burial and final expense costs. Mahalo for your love and support during this difficult time.
