Carlos Eduardo de Luna Alcorta (September 9, 1998-March 12, 2017) was a vibrant, intelligent, athletic, hard-working and kind son, brother and friend to all. He was visiting family and friends in Mexico when he heard the news that his niece had been born. Filled with joy and excitement, Carlos immediately headed home to San Antonio to meet his niece and celebrate her arrival with his family. Tragically, en route to the hospital, he was in a car accident and he died at the scene.

The void that he leaves is immeasurable. Carlos was the only son of two incredible parents who have always worked hard to support Carlos and his two sisters. His mother, Nely, has worked for many families in New Braunfels and you could often find Carlos with her helping in any way that he could.

His laugh and love for life was contagious. He was a senior in high school with plans to attend UTSA and then law school.

Carlos will be dearly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

The funds from this will go directly toward funeral costs and any other expenses in this time of tragedy.
