Funeral Expenses for Brandon Castinado
Donation protected
On January 2, 2023 we lost our beloved Brandon Tyler Castinado to suicide, at the age of 30. Like so many during this time, our family is devasted and heartbroken to say the least. Such a permanent decision that has life long devastating outcomes that will ripple across our society and generations to come in our family. The agony dealing with the reality of him not being here, the countless unanswered questions, and the acceptance that our lives will be lived without him forever, seems so unfathomable.
Brandon was a registered nurse in Salt Lake City at the University of Utah Health. He lived for helping others and for enriching and bringing joy to the lives of everyone he came across. This mentality isn’t innate for all, but for Brandon, it was. Of course, Brandon’s service in the armed forces further solidified his desire to help anyone and everyone and honor others above himself.
Due to the circumstances of Brandon’s death, there will be no financial help from insurance. Our hopes for this page is to help support the family in this heartbreaking time and to give Brandon the funeral service and celebration of life that he deserves. Any additional funds that are raised past the expenses of the funeral and arrangements will be donated in memory of Brandon, to raise suicide prevention.
If you are needing help please reach out and know there is always someone willing to listen and get you the help you need. Please get help, there is hope.
