As many of you know, Robert “Bobby C” Contreras passed away on Sunday, November 29th from medical issues he had for several years. Bobby was a loving father and grandfather. He loved his family so much – this included his extended family, those of us in the Hispanic community. Bobby was a DJ for 30+ years and enjoyed bringing fun and entertainment to all those that had the chance to listen to him play your favorite songs. He was always there if someone needed help – whether it was playing for free, donating money, or items for a giveaway…Bobby was always there.

We would like to extend our most sincere condolences to his children, Pat & Jessica. We would also like to thank them for sharing their wonderful father with us over the past few decades. He will truly be missed by our Fiesta Hispana family…there is no replacing him.

As an expression of gratitude for his heartfelt giving, Fiesta Hispana would like to extend to the community an opportunity to donate in support of his final celebration of life and show his family how much their father was loved and cared for by his community. Due to the increase in COVID-19 cases in the Kansas City area, we are very limited in how we can raise funds for his family. Any and all expressions of support are much appreciated.
